Street Stock and Factory Stock Drivers
2010-2011 Season Schedule

The 2010-2011 race schedule has been released and opening night of the
2010-2011 season will be September 25, 2010. Opening night racing will
feature the ASA Street Stock and Factory Stocks. The night will also include
the first of two scheduled Waterless Boat Races.

Friday night, September 24, 2010, will feature a Test & Tune from 6-9 p.m.

The racing season will include the weekly racing divisons of Late Models,
Modifieds, Bandoleros, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Powder Puff. In
addition, the season will feature the touring series of the Lucas Oil
Modifieds, ASA Speed Trucks, and Southwest Tour Trucks.

2009-2010 Season Banquet

The 2009-2010 season banquet will be held on September 18, 2010 at
6:00 p.m. Further details will follow.
Open Practice

For the racers that want to get a jump on getting their cars tuned for the
upcoming season, an open practice is scheduled for September 17, 2010
from 6-9 p.m.
ATTENTION
Racers Input/Support Needed
The Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department will hold a
public meeting Thursday evening, August 19, on proposed revisions to
the SARA Park Master Plan that would include the addition of a off-road
(dirt) track and drag strip. Without support of changing the SARA Park
master plan, these facilities/uses will not be allowed to be built. Please
show your support by attending the meeting on Thursday.

The public meeting will be held Thursday, August 19, from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. in the training room of the Lake Havasu City Police Department,
2360 McCulloch Boulevard. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting
will start promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Information from this meeting will forwarded to the Parks and Recreation
Advisory Board for their recommendation and then to the City Council to
approve or disapprove the proposed revisions.
